When making calls our staff are instructed to identify the person person they are talking to; this is to prevent breaches of personal information. The process may include asking personal questions, details of which are stored in the patient' s care record, as a why to confirm the identify of who answers the phone.
If in doubt patients should not provide personal information but discuss their concerns, that they suspect it is a scam call, with the staff member who will attempt to provide assurances.
If still in doubt call us back on 0161 903 9302; be aware that oour lines close at 1830hrs (Mon-Fri)
